Freezer Beef

Beef is sold by the half or whole once/year, typically available in February (maximize your tax refund and fill the freezer!)  Cattle are Angus and have been selected for carcass quality.  They are raised on grass for typically 18 months before being placed on a finishing ration the last 90 - 120 days before being processed locally.

With a half or whole beef, you receive all the cuts from the animal, from T-Bones and Rib steaks, to burger, roasts, stew meat, and even dog bones for your pets (if you wish).  You also can specify your desired processing, whether that is 1 or 2 pound packages of burger, 1" or 2" thick steaks, etc.
