Lewis Livestock & Life
About
Lewis Land & Livestock is owned and managed by Kaleb and Kari Lewis, west of Kevin, Montana. Kari grew up just three miles away on her parents' ranch (Wayne and Roxy Gillespie) and met Kaleb in the Nebraska Sandhills while working on her Animal Science Master's research. Kaleb and Kari moved back to Montana in 2013 and since then have been growing their cattle herd. Kari works full-time for Montana State University Extension as the Glacier County extension agent and Kaleb works full-time on the wind farm as well. In addition, they balance the ranch and work with raising two kids, Kaci and Lane.

The Ranch
The ranch consists of approximately 8,000 acres of dryland native range in north Toole County. The ranch has been in Kari's family since the 1950's and we are honored to be able to carry on the ranch that Butch and Doreen Gillespie owned and managed for many years. The ranch is in a 10 - 12 inch rainfall zone and cows graze the majority of the year.

Vision
We stive to produce high quality, low maintenance Registered Angus bulls that will produce cattle who thrive in a low-input range environment.
